Tallinn eHealth Conference 2010 - advance notice
Estonian eHealth Foundation is organizing an international eHealth Conference „Have an eExperience in Tallinn!" that will take place on October 13-15, 2010 in Tallinn, Estonia.
Estonian eHealth Foundation´s CEO, Mr. Madis Tiik, describes the event: „There is no question that ICT has become a symbiotic partner in every aspect of our life. Estonia has been a pioneer in implementing eServices such as eSchool, eTaxboard, ePolice and eHealth and we would like to share the good and bad experiences with other countries to make use of the knowledge we have gathered on that road."
The Conference intends to bring together the Eastern and Western Europe´s industry leaders and experts both from public and private sectors, senior government representatives, clinicians and IT companies for education and collaboration.
The Conference main program sessions are Vision of eServices, Impact of eServices,Patient´s informed consent and the implications for care processes, eHealth from the implementer´s side. The second day will be devoted to site visits to health and ICT organizations so that every participant has a chance to experience the eServices local citizens use on daily basis.
