The registration to conference has closed.
The conference covers a range of topics including international and national implementation of telemedicine and eHealth services, citizen eServices and current initiatives in various countries. There are sessions in Finnish and in English.
Session themes:
-From systems to services to citizens: Telemedicine and eHealth initiatives in practice
-Telemedicine solutions in practice - case studies (in Finnish)
-What can we learn from implemented citizen eServices? (in Finnish)
-Cross-border eHealth
-Combining viewpoints to improve systems quality (in Finnish)
-Site visits in Stockholm
The poster session call for abstracts is also open. The poster proposals related to recent research in conference themes should be sent by January 8. The best abstracts can be extended to the Finnish Journal of eHealth and eWelfare. More information:

National conference 2009
The 14th National Conference on Telemedicine and eHealth will be organized in Oulu, April 2.-3., 2009. Seminar will cover themes from updating the knowledge about national eHealth situation and projects up to the latest advancements of business solutions. Attention will be paid to international standards and how to use the data. Seminar will include site visits to Oulu University Hospital and other eHealth related top units in the region. Seminar venue is Oulu University Main building, Aapistie 5, Oulu.
Seminar will be organized in collaboration with Northern Ostrobothnia Hospital District and Finnish Society of Telemedicine and eHealth
National conference 2008
The 13th National Conference on Telemedicine and eHealth was organized on M/S Viking Mariella on April 2-4, 2008. The themes covered eHealth services for citizens, as well as the usability of applications and servies from the point of view of customers and professionals. The seminar also included visits to companies and Karolinska Institute in Stockholm. Thank you for participating this event!

National conference 2007
12 th Finnish National Telemedicine and eHealth Conference was held in Kuopio, Finland at 26.-27.
April 2007 by Finnish Society of Telemedicine (FST) together with Technology Centre Teknia Ltd and
local health care institutions. The program covered latest update in Finnish health care ICT plus
a lot of user experiences. Around 170 participants gathered to the event, including delegations
from Estonia and Sendai, Japan.
