STTY, Sosiaali- ja terveydenhuollon tietojenkäsittely-yhdistys Ry järjestää 12. tutkimuspäivät 27.5 - 28.5.2009 Jyväskylässä.
Tutkimuspäivät muodostavat foorumin Suomessa tehtävälle sosiaali- ja terveydenhuollon informatiikan, tietotekniikan ja tiedonhallinnan tutkimukselle. Tutkimuspäivät tarjoavat erinomaisen tilaisuuden esitellä ja julkaista tuoreimpia tutkimuksia, saada niistä palautetta sekä verkostoitua muiden tutkijoiden kanssa.
Tutkijoiden esitysten lisäksi on tutkimuspäivillä on mahdollisuus seurata myös korkeatasoisia keynote-esityksiä.

IHE JA YHTEENTOIMIVUUS KÄYTÄNNÖSSÄ - seminaari, 14.11.2008, Helsinki
Tietojärjestelmien hankinta ja kehittäminen terveydenhuollossa edellyttää
entistä laajemmin huolehtimista siitä, että kokonaisuuden eri osasten
välillä saadaan aikaan tiedonvaihtoa prosessien tukemiseksi sekä
paikallisesti, alueellisesti että valtakunnallisesti. Yhteensopivuutta
parantavien standardien soveltamiseen on saatavilla kansainvälisesti
kehitettyjä valmiita malleja (mm. IHE, Integrating Healthcare Enterprise).
Seminaarissa luodaan kuva siitä, mitä IHE-ratkaisujen soveltaminen
käytännössä tarkoittaa, millaisia tuloksia IHE-mallien soveltamisella on
saavutettu sekä miten yhteentoimivuustarpeet tulisi ottaa huomioon
hankinnoissa ja tarjouspyyntöjä laadittaessa.

OmaHyvinvointi on kansalaisen valtaistamiseen tähtäävä
kehittämishanke, jossa yhteistyössä eri tutkimusryhmien ja yritysten
kanssa tavoitellaan Pärjäin-konseptia osana Tekesin Finnwell-ohjelmaa.
Pärjäin on kansalaisen käyttöön tarkoitettu tuotteistettu työkalu,
jonka avulla hän voi huolehtia ennakoivasti omasta hyvinvoinnistaan ja
hoitaa itseään ja asioitaan vaivattomasti.
Hankkeen ensimmäisessä vaiheessa keskitytään kansalaisen terveyttä
koskeviin tietoihin, kohderyhminä erityisesti vauvautuvat ja
eläköityvät kansalaiset. Hanketta koordinoi Turun yliopiston
professori Markku Nurminen yhdessä Åbo Akademin Corporate Foresight
Group CoFin kanssa. Hankkeen muut tutkimusosapuolet ovat Kuopion
yliopisto, Savonia-AMK, Tampereen yliopisto ja Teknillinen korkeakoulu.
Tilaisuus on avoin kaikille kansalaisen hyvinvoinnista ja sen
edistämiseen vaikuttavista tekijöistä kiinnostuneille tahoille.

Kansallinen seminaari 2007
XII Kansallinen telelääketieteen ja eHealth -seminaari järjestettiin yhteistyössä STLS:n, Teknologiakeskus Teknian ja paikallisten terveydenhuolto-organisaatioiden kanssa 26.-27.4.2007 Kuopiossa Teknologiakeskus Teknian auditoriossa, Microtekniassa. Lähes kaksisataa osallistujaa kokoontui kuuntelemaan viimeisintä tietoa telelääketieteen ja eHealthin alalta niin käyttäjien kuin palvelujen tuottajien näkökulmasta. Seminaarissa vieraili myös delegaatiot Virosta ja Japanista. Kiitos kaikille osallistujille aktiivista mukanaolosta!
Kansallinen seminaari 2006
Seura järjesti XI Kansallisen telelääketieteen ja e-Health seminaarin vuosikokousseminaarina Viking Mariellalla 8.- 10. 2. 2006.
Seminaarin teemana oli sosiaali- ja terveydenhuollon tietoturva.

Kansallinen seminaari 2005
X Kansallisen telelääketieteen ja e-Health – seminaari oli 13.–15.4.2005 Lappeenrannassa. Seminaarissa luotiin katsaus Suomen kansalliseen terveysprojektiin sekä kuultiin EU:n komission e-Health tavoitteista ja International Society of Telemedicinen globaali näkemys, käytännön kokemuksia kansallisista kärkihankkeista ja CyberHealthin tulevaisuuden mahdollisuuksista. Tutkimusjaostolla ja Yritysten ja tekniikan jaostolla oli omat ohjelmakokonaisuudet ja tutustumiskäynneillä oli mahdollisuus perehtyä Etelä-Karjalan keskussairaalan tietojärjestelmiin. Aiheena seminaarissa olivat myös virtuaali- ja verkko-opetuksen tietoiskut ja yksityissektorin ja alueellisen tietohallinnan uudet tuulet. Seminaarin esitelmiä on luettavissa jäsenalueella (vaatii jäsentunnukset).
Suomen Seutuverkot ry kevätseminaari 27-28.4.2004 Viking Mariella, Helsinki-Tukholma-Helsinki. Ohjelma on monipuolinen ja korkeatasoinen. Seminaarin aikana konferenssitiloissa toimii "MINISEUTUVERKKO". Liikenne- ja viestintäministeriön Tatu Tuominen avaa seminaarin kertomalla kansallisesta laajakaistastrategiasta ja sen merkityksestä. Kansallinen seminaari 2004
IX Kansallinen telelääketieteen ja eHealth seminaari oli Kemissä 11.-13.2.2004.
Pääteemoina olivat : Sähköiset potilaskertomukset Pohjoismaissa, Kansallinen terveyshanke, Kansainvälinen eHealth yhteistyö Euroopan Unionissa, eHealth innovaatiot ja uutuudet, Tietosuoja ja –turva sähköisissä tietojärjestelmissä ja eLearning . Mukana olivat kiinnostavimmat hankkeet, alan kuumimmat yritykset ja puhujina kärkinimiä eduskunnasta, ministeriöstä, Euroopan komissiosta, sairaanhoitopiireistä, korkeakouluista ja toimijoiden kentältä Seminaariväen antaman palautteen perusteella seminaarin parhaaksi anniksi todettiin laaja, monipuolinen, ajankohtainen informaatio alasta.
Luennoitsijoiden asiantuntemusta kiiteltiin ja näyttely ja yritysten läsnäolo koettiin tärkeäksi. Monipuolista ja arktista sosiaalista ohjelmaa kiiteltiin. STLS:n jäsenalueella on luettavissa useiden luennoitsijoiden esitykset.
Terveydenhuollon Atk-päivät 2003 The Annual Healthcare Informatics Conference, Jyväskylä, Finland
Terveydenhuollon 29. Atk-päivät pidetään Jyväskylän kongressikeskus Paviljongissa 26.-27.5.2003. Paviljongin näyttelyhallissa tapahtunut kattoromahdus ei vaikuta päiviin. Päivät pidetään betonirakenteisessa kongressikeskuksessa, jossa myös näyttelymme järjestetään.
Päivillä on rinnakkaissessioissa tarjolla lukuisia ajankohtaisia katselmuksia terveydenhuollon tietotekniikkaan ja käytännön toteutuksiin. Perinteiseen tapaan ohjelmaa on useille eri ammattiryhmille kiinnostuksen mukaan. Päivien yhteydessä on myös laaja terveydenhuollon tietotekniikkanäyttely.
Illanvietoissa ja ohjelmatauoilla voit myös tavata kollegoitasi eri puolilta Suomea. Viime vuonna Joensuussa 28. Atk-päivillä oli yli 400 osanottajaa.

TAYS:n ja Seinäjoen keskussairaalan (SeKS) välillä on ollut yli vuoden ajan käynnissä etälääketieteellinen sovellus, jossa SeKS:n isotooppilaboratoriossa tehdyt kaikki gammakameratutkimukset on tietoverkon kautta siirretty raakakuvatiedostoina TAYS:n isotooppilaboratorion kuvajärjestelmään työstettäväksi, analysoitavaksi ja lausuttavaksi. Potilaiden gammakuvia oli siirretty vuoden 2002 alkuun mennessä yhteensä 1260 kpl. Sovelluksessa vastauslausunnot siirretään salattuina äänitiedostoina takaisin Seinäjoelle verkkoa pitkin. Palvelu tapahtuu sairaaloiden välisellä sopimuksella ulkopuolisena myyntinä. Sovelluksesta on laadittu seikkaperäinen analyysi, jonka tuloksia seminaarissa esitellään. Tarkastelemme myös tietoturvallisuuteen, kustannuslaskentaan ja puheen koneelliseen tunnistukseen (lääkärin sanelut suoraan tekstiksi tietokoneelle) liittyviä aiheita.

Koulutusta digitaalisiin kuva-arkistoihin, teleradiologiaan ja
työasematyöskenetelyyn Pisassa 25.-26.9.2009
EuroPACS (European Association for Promoting Picture Archiving and
Communication Systems) järjestää 25.-26.9.2009 Pisassa Italiassa kurssin,
joka perehdyttää nykyaikaiseen digitaaliseen työasematyöskentelyyn
radiologiassa. Alan parhaat osaajat Euroopassa opastavat digitaalisiin
kuvajärjestelmiin, alan standardeihin, teleradiologiaan ja leikkaussalin
kuvajärjestelmiin. Erityinen painotus kurssilla on tietokonevausteisessa
diagnostiikassa ja toisaalta kuvamateriaalin prosessoilla erilaisissa
kliinisissä kysymyksenasetteluissa (mm. CT-colongrafia, sydämen ja
verisuonten kuvaus, perfuusiokuvaukset). Työasemia pääsee testaamaan myös
